ACAS provides youths and adults of Guam the opportunity to participate in it’s many programs through club membership and tournament events to stay healthy and physically fit through organized sports. 

Tamuning Typhoons Basketball Club

Community Basketball Program

A nine month season beginning in April and ending in December.  Membership fee per year gives you 9 months of workouts with club coaches once a week at Tamuning recreational gym.  Youth and adult memberships available.

A much awaited tournament that runs for 10 weekends beginning June to August.  There are 8 divisions featuring 70 plus teams from the ages of 5 to 16 years.  All games are held at the Tamuning recreational gym.

Focusing on the IIAAG and GPSS Middle School Boys Interscholastic Basketball teams this 6 day event hosts the playoffs and championship game for the sweet 16 teams participating from both leagues to determine who the overall island championship team will be.  Tournament scheduled in March at Tamuning Recreational Gym.

This 3 weekend tournament held at Tamuning Gym is held on the third week of November thru the first week of December that marks the end of the season for all basketball clubs and is packed with energy and fans to watch their favorite club teams perform.

A basketball clinic for ages 5 to 14 that include skill development, contests, and mini tournament competition in preparation for the SummerJam Tournament presented by TakeCare.

The Golden Hoops offers coed adults ages 35 and over a chance to relive the glory of their past playing in the present. They are the role models for youths to stay active through organized sports.All games are held at the Tamuning recreational gym.
